This role provides an opportunity for a trainee or aspiring Careers Consultant to gain experience and skills in providing career information, advice, and guidance in a Higher Education context. Working as part of Arden University’s Careers and Employability team, you will provide careers information, advice and guidance to students and graduates, helping them reflect on their values, interests, abilities, and skills. You will be supporting them to acquire the necessary skills / resources to plan and manage their careers and secure appropriate employment, further study, and training.

About You:
We are looking for someone who has transferable experience of working with students or colleagues from a diverse range of backgrounds, in a variety of different situations, helping them succeed in their own development goals.
Having strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a passion for supporting others to grow and develop in their careers is key. You will also be a team player, who enjoys team collaboration and have a keen understanding of current issues in higher education and graduate employment, along with a commitment to staying updated on labour markets.

This is a two stage interview process and final interviews will take place online on the w/c the 5th of August with offers being made the following week.
