The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Library Content and Licencing Manager to join our Library Services team.
The role
This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced Library professional to join a fully digital Library team to coordinate library resource procurement and acquisition activities. You will play a crucial role in supporting Arden University’s new programme development processes, project managing the Library’s input into the development of new modules.
You will line manage a team of Content and Acquisitions Assistants, taking responsibility for acquisitions, financial administration and document supply and digitisation services.
About you
You will have significant experience of working with Library systems, acquisitions and information resources in a Higher Education setting, along with knowledge of bibliographic data and its use in an acquisitions context. You will have excellent organisational and time management skills, with experience of managing projects with multiple stakeholders. You will also have knowledge of copyright and how it applies in the Higher Education sector.
You will need to possess a high level of IT literacy, and excellent communication skills, including a hands on approach to problem solving, and be able to innovate and continuously improve processes. Experience of coaching and supporting staff is essential.
