The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Student Persistence Manager to join our Student Experience Teams, who support our students in navigating their academic journey.
You will play a vital role in managing student-related matters on all campuses, including attendance records, assessment submissions, and complaints; providing guidance, ensuring safety protocols, and facilitating referrals. You will also support student success and retention across the University, working in partnership with the Director of Academic Persistence and other key stakeholders across the organisation.
Using predictive analytics, engagement data and student feedback you will analyse student requirements and develop impactful programmes, and lead on the development of the student retention strategy, implementing the delivery plan necessary to enhance student satisfaction, retention, and continuation. You will inspire the student hub campus teams to provide exceptional student support, and increase student resiliency skills.

About You:
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of success in student persistence / retention, with experience in student services, academic advising or related fields. A good understanding of student development theory, success initiatives and resources is essential, along with familiarity with University delivery models, academic calendars and student support systems.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership capabilities and have operational experience managing a high-volume support service. You should be adept at empowering colleagues to deliver outstanding support, and have exceptional interpersonal skills to build and main effective relationships across the University.
You will also be data driven and aligned with KPIs, with good numerical and data handling skills using tools such as PowerBI, SQL and Predictive Analytics.
