At Arden University, we pride ourselves on being true innovators, disruptors and pioneers, our focus is to promote life-long learning and ensure that everyone, everywhere can access higher education. We are currently looking for a new Central Timetabling Officer to join our team.
Our Central Timetabling Team ensure that all teaching and learning activity (for study centres / locations / modes) is appropriately timetabled using our new digital timetabling system (TermTime), effectively utilising all resources involved in the delivery of teaching. You will lead in creating and maintaining class timetables on an ongoing basis, making changes as required according to business need. You will play a key role in providing a valuable service by working with key stakeholders, including Academic staff, Commercial teams and Study Centre staff to ensure all processes for production and publication of student and staff timetables are followed.

You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, and be happy to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. You will be keen to embrace new technologies, quick to learn new systems, processes, procedures and ways of working, and have a desire to offer a professional service to all stakeholders at all times. We are looking for someone with an understanding of the principles of timetabling, and experience of working on timetabling / allocation of teaching staff activities within an HE environment.
We use the TermTime (Semestry) system for creating and managing timetables; experience using this, or other timetabling systems, is desirable but not essential.
