This role operates on a hybrid working arrangement that will require 1 day travel into our Prague office (Thursday). This may fluctuate in line with business requirements. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

About our Department:
The People team supports everyone at Arden, from recruitment and onboarding through to development, employee relations and reward. We partner with managers across the university to build a positive, supportive and high-performing workplace.
About the Opportunity:
You'll deliver a seamless onboarding experience for new colleagues, completing pre-employment checks, documentation and system access so they're productive and engaged from day one. Working with hiring managers, People Services, Talent Acquisition, Payroll and IT, you'll be the main point of contact for new starters, and may support the wider People Services and Payroll team at busy times.
About You:
You're a highly organised, customer-focused administrator who takes pride in getting the details right. You enjoy a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly and professionally, and work just as well independently as part of a wider team.
Essential requirements:
Previous experience in an HR, recruitment, People Services or employee onboarding role
Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Experience coordinating multiple activities and managing competing priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A strong customer service focus, with the ability to build positive relationships
Experience using HR systems, applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Knowledge of right-to-work checks (UK, Germany and Czech Republic), pre-employment screening and employment documentation, with an understanding of data protection principles
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a wider team
Desirable requirements:
Experience within the higher education sector
Experience supporting onboarding projects or continuous improvement initiatives
Familiarity with HRIS platforms and digital onboarding tools
