This role operates primarily on a remote working arrangement that will require little to no travel into our Coventry head office or various UK campuses. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

About the Opportunity:
Arden University is accelerating an ambitious digital and AI-enabled transformation agenda, and modern integration capability sits at the heart of that journey.
The Lead Integration Solutions Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping how systems, data and services connect across the University, helping to design scalable, resilient and future-ready solutions that support students, colleagues and strategic growth.
Acting as the critical link between business stakeholders and the Integration Development Team, the post-holder will turn complex demand into clear, prioritised and developer-ready specifications aligned to Arden’s integration strategy, middleware roadmap and modern event-driven architecture.
Working alongside the Lead Integration Developer, this role will help drive better use of APIs, automation, cloud platforms and reusable integration patterns, enabling Software Engineers to focus on high-quality design, build and support while ensuring Arden continues to evolve its technology landscape with pace, control and purpose.
About You:
Essential Skills / Experience:
Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management capability.
Ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications and requirements.
Strong understanding of APIs, middleware, system integrations, message brokers, event-driven architectures and cloud services.
Producing high-quality technical documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, data mappings and functional/non-functional requirements.
Facilitating workshops, discovery sessions and requirements discussions.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and organisational skills.
Ability to constructively challenge requirements and identify risks, dependencies and assumptions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving approach.
Agile and Kanban delivery methods, including Jira.
Working within technical delivery teams supporting software, integration, middleware or cloud-based solutions.
Collaborating effectively with software engineers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Managing and refining technical backlogs.
Analysing business processes and identifying opportunities for automation and integration.
Understanding of data transformation and asynchronous messaging.
