This role operates on a hybrid working arrangement that requires 1 day a week in our Coventry Head Office. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

Our People Team play a pivotal role in delivering Arden University’s people strategy, supporting colleagues across the full employee lifecycle. The team provides expert services across recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, learning and development, wellbeing, workforce planning and organisational change, helping to create a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
About the Opportunity:
At Arden University, we're passionate about creating a culture where learning and development are at the heart of everything we do. As our Learning & Development Advisor, you'll play a key role in supporting colleagues throughout their employee journey by coordinating engaging learning experiences, delivering seamless onboarding programmes, and helping to drive a culture of continuous growth and development.
Working within the People Team, you'll be responsible for coordinating training activities, supporting the administration of our Learning Management System (LMS), managing learning data and reporting, and building strong relationships with colleagues and external training providers. You'll help ensure our people have access to the learning opportunities they need to succeed while contributing to projects that enhance our learning and development offering across the university.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing organisation and administration with meaningful stakeholder engagement and is passionate about creating positive employee experiences through learning.
About You:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Learning & Development professional who is passionate about helping others learn, grow, and achieve their potential. You'll have previous experience working within Learning & Development, HR, or a People Services environment and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy, fast-paced setting.
You will bring excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to build strong relationships across the organisation and confidently support colleagues with their learning and development needs. You will be detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoy finding practical solutions while maintaining accurate records and delivering a first-class service.
Experience coordinating training programmes, onboarding activities, and working with learning management systems will help you succeed in the role. You'll also have a keen interest in learning technologies, continuous improvement, and using data and feedback to enhance the learning experience. Most importantly, you'll share our commitment to supporting colleagues, promoting development opportunities, and fostering an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive.
