This role operates on a hybrid working arrangement that will require 1 day travel into our Coventry head office. This may fluctuate in line with business requirements. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

About our Department:
Our People Team play a pivotal role in delivering Arden University’s people strategy, supporting colleagues across the full employee lifecycle. The team provides expert services across recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, learning and development, wellbeing, workforce planning and organisational change, helping to create a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
About the Opportunity:
This role provides essential coordination, administrative support, and employee‑relations assistance to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the University’s Employee Relations (ER) function.
Deliver high‑quality coordination and administrative support across all ER activities
Support the effective management and progression of ER casework
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date ER documentation and records
Produce ER data, reports, and insights to support decision‑making
Provide consistent, professional support to colleagues within the ER team
Contribute to the continuous improvement of ER processes and ways of working
About You:
You will bring strong experience in employee‑relations coordination and a confident, organised approach to managing a busy and varied workload. You’ll be comfortable supporting ER activity from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a high standard of service.
Experience coordinating and administering ER casework in a fast‑paced environment
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage documentation, track case progression, and maintain accurate records
Proven proficiency in data management, including producing reports, analysing trends, and presenting information clearly
A proactive, detail‑focused approach, with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines
Confident communication skills, enabling you to work collaboratively with colleagues and support managers professionally
A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering a high‑quality ER service
Although having hands-on Employee Relations experience is ideal, we still encourage applications from those with strong HR Administrator backgrounds who are keen to step into Employee Relations.
