This role operates on a hybrid working arrangement that will require 1 day travel into our Prague office. This may fluctuate in line with business requirements. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

About our Department:
The Marketing department at Arden is responsible for delivering student acquisition and lifecycle campaigns that are insight-led, high performing, and creatively ambitious. As we expand our operations, we're investing heavily in Marketing Cloud capabilities to enable smarter, more personalised communications across the entire student journey — from first enquiry through to enrolment, progression, and beyond.
This role sits within a growing team focused on campaign automation, CRM integration, and multi-channel delivery — supporting the university’s transformation towards more data-driven, always-on student marketing. About the Opportunity:
The Marketing Communications Manager will lead the strategic execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns to support growth and drive efficiency in cost-per-enrolment and other key business areas.
The Marketing Communications Manager will own communication strategies across Email, WhatsApp, SMS, Live Chat and cutting-edge real-time and AI-driven personalisation tools within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Arden’s wider marketing technology ecosystem.
This role requires a seamless orchestration of communications between marketing, sales and technical teams, adherence to brand guidelines, and effective utilization of data and analytics to drive decision-making. You will work across multiple platforms and channels, but with a clear focus on managing and delivering marketing automation and a schedule of multi-channel communications.
The Marketing Communications Manager will coordinate with multiple stakeholders to proactively identify and address gaps within the customer journey, establishing repeatable, scalable strategies to enhance prospective and current student engagement and drive measurable business outcomes. This person will manage a team of two and report into the Head of Conversion and Marketing Technology.
About You:
Essential requirements:
- Proficient in multi-channel marketing, particularly email marketing, with a focus on automation and personalization.
- Experienced in using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or very close equivalent for campaign execution and analysis.
- Ability to develop and optimise long-term messaging strategies, including nurturing and engagement campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in BI platforms, Salesforce or similar enterprise level CRM, and other data analytics tools.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in deploying, developing and optimising email campaigns on a marketing automation platform
- Proven execution and understanding of email best practices
- Familiar with A/B testing best practices
- Up-to-the-minute knowledge of the latest marketing automation capabilities on the market including AI-driven content creation and customer segmentation
- Entrepreneurial spirit and focus on profitable growth
- Authoritative knowledge of marketing processes and procedures relevant to the role, including broader sector/commercial awareness.
- Creative copywriting and proofreading
- Experience with consumer journey mapping and analysis
- Compliance stewardship - this person will need to care deeply about digital privacy and will be a champion for GDPR and PECR best practice within digital communications
- Target / KPI ownership, this person will own conversion funnel and engagement metrics
Desirable requirements:
- Line management experience
- Experience with deploying AI-generated content and AI customer segmentation in a real-world setting
