About our Department:
We have a great opportunity for you to join our Student Finance team as a Student Finance Officer. As we grow our Student Finance team and new a new Nottingham campus, we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the team.
About the Opportunity:
The Student Finance Officer will be responsible for the end-to-end support of students studying with Arden via a variety of modes (e.g., Part time, Full time and Postgraduate), with specific responsibility for student funding. The post-holder will work proactively in collaboration with colleagues to ensure the highest levels of customer service, support and advice are provided to students with regards to their student funding.
About You:
The role will detail a variety of responsibilities including;
Essential requirements:
- Work on departmental projects within the Student Finance department.
- Supply accurate data and information to other departments or external agencies (e.g., Student Loans Company) as required.
- Identify additional service or system improvements and work with the Student Finance Team Leader to co-ordinate the delivery of innovative solutions to maximise service quality, efficiency, and continuity.
- Assist the Student Finance Team Leader with the management of effective relationships with Student Loan Company (SLC), developing key contacts and associations to support Arden in its service to students.
- Use and understand finance systems to enable manipulation of data and initial investigation of customer queries/problems.
- Support with all Student Finance queries, including more complex queries, offering an excellent student experience.
Identify gaps or shortfalls in information/ data and actively source and apply innovative solutions.

As we grow our Student Finance function, we are looking for a Student Finance Officer to join our growing finance community who is.

- Will collaborate with other teams across Finance and the wider Arden University business.
- Strives for continuous process improvement.
- Has proven Excel experience.
- Has experience with accurate data reporting.
