This is a hybrid role that will require regular travel into our UK locations. Travel each week will fluctuate based on business requirements. The primary location for this role will be based at our Coventry head office.

About our Department:
Our Student Experience departments at Arden University ensure students across all campuses, including international (Arden Global), receive the support and opportunities needed for success. They deliver services and initiatives covering student transitions, leadership & development, engagement, career services, success coaching, milestone programmes, student conduct, and well-being support.
Working closely with academic and professional services teams, the function enhances the student journey through a data-driven approach, continuously improving programmes to strengthen student satisfaction and outcomes. It also contributes to institutional policies and initiatives, ensuring every Arden student has access to the resources and guidance needed to achieve their potential.
About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a strategic and dynamic leader to drive our Student Experience departments here at Arden University. As the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Student Experience, you will shape and enhance student engagement, success, and well-being across all campuses, including international students (Arden Global).
This role offers the chance to lead key initiatives in student transitions, leadership & development, career services, well-being, and engagement, ensuring a high-quality experience aligned with Arden’s growth. Working closely with senior leadership, you will take a data-driven approach to continuous improvement, influencing policies and driving impactful change in a fast-paced environment.

About You:
We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong background in student experience within higher education. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of senior leadership experience in a university setting. They will be skilled in using data-driven insights to shape strategy and drive continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with our ArdenNeXT Plan.
Experience required:
- Proven track record in leading student retention and persistence programmes.
- Strong experience in project planning, management, and process improvement.
- Ability to use data analysis to inform decision-making and drive institutional change.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills in a leadership capacity.
- Ability to lead and influence through collaborative and consultative approaches.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate vision and strategy.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
- Extensive knowledge of higher education policies, student services, and regulatory frameworks in the UK (and other relevant territories).
