About the Opportunity:

As Student Communications and Events Manager, reporting to the Pro-Vice Chancellor - Student Experience, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our internal communications strategy. You will:

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate a high-quality internal communications service for students and staff.
• Develop and manage communication channels to align with strategic objectives and engage diverse audiences.
• Create compelling content that drives engagement and enhances communication impact.
• Lead the design and delivery of effective communication strategies tailored to students' needs.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and other University teams to align messaging.
• Act as a trusted consultant to Schools and Faculties, advising on best practices for internal communications to boost engagement.

About You:

We’re looking for a talented communications and events professional who is:

• A creative thinker with exceptional communication skills.
• Experienced in marketing, promotions, and event communication.
• Highly motivated with a genuine passion for higher education.
• Skilled in initiating, developing, and managing digital communication channels.
• Proficient at creating impactful content and improving communication strategies for diverse audiences.
• Experienced in driving engagement through innovative communication formats.
• Ideally, has experience working in Higher Education communications (highly desirable).
