About the Department:
The Lead Student Hub Advisor sit within our Student Experience team which is crucial to providing pastoral support and career advice to students to maintain student welfare. This includes providing the best experience and guidance from application, admission, through to graduation.
About the Opportunity:
As a Lead Student Hub Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our student body, delivering exceptional customer service. In this key role, you will manage escalated student cases, oversee crucial administrative tasks, and lead the professional development of our Student Hub team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the student body, providing high-quality support and customer service.
- Manage and resolve escalated student cases, ensuring timely and satisfactory outcomes.
- Oversee and handle key administrative tasks to maintain a smooth student services experience.
- Lead the training, coaching, and professional development of the Student Hub team.
- Guide and support Student Hub Advisors to resolve complex student inquiries from the first point of contact.
About You:
We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in a front-line, customer-facing role. You should have:
- A proven history of managing escalated enquiries and complex cases.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong cultural awareness and an ability to connect with diverse groups.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Solid administrative and IT skills.
- Background in Higher Education (HE) or Further Education (FE) is advantageous
- Prior Experience in training and developing team members is beneficial.
