Arden University is a growing organisation delivering blended and online study options to students studying towards Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees. Aside from the study centre in Berlin, we have study centres in numerous locations across the UK and a head office based in Coventry. 

The Role 

We are seeking Associate Lecturers for Arden’s online learning delivery provision. 

You will be teaching Arden University distance learning students by utilising a range of innovative learning materials and resources. 

Arden currently has opportunities in Computing from level 4 to level 7. 

We are particularly looking for subject specialists in the following: 

• Database (Oracle, MySql, Modelling), 

• Programming (PHP, Java, Python), 

• Web (HTML, CSS, Javascript), 

• Cloud (Azure, AWS) 

• IT project management 

• Digital Business 

• Data Mining and Data Analysis 

• Networking, Cyber Security 

• Data Analytics 

• Information/Digital strategy - IT Strategic management 

You will need to be able to combine your technical expertise with a proven ability to deliver concepts and techniques to a diverse student community. 

We would expect you to be available for two or more four hours of sessions per week. You will have at least 2 years of experience as a HE Lecturer and/or relevant industry practice in one or more of the above fields. 

Relevant UG/PG or recognised professional qualifications with HEA membership desirable. 

Duties include delivery of; workshops, marking, module leadership and supporting students throughout their academic progression. 

You may also be involved in the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.
