The Opportunity:

This post provides an opportunity for an early career academic to gain experience and skills in learning, teaching and assessment practice in a Higher Education context. Under the supervision of an experienced academic you will contribute to teaching at different levels and provide academic support to individuals and groups, contribute to assessment, and undertake administrative activities to support teaching and learning activities.
This is another great opportunity to join our School of Psychology, which has grown significantly over the last 2 years. Our academic team has a diverse range of experiences from working in academia, as practitioners and working in industry. Our focus is on developing students in both discipline knowledge and applied skills to make them employer ready when they graduate from us.
About You:
You will need a BPS accredited degree or higher in Psychology, and have or be willing to attain HEA fellowship. You will have the ability to effectively communicate material of a specialist or technical nature relevant to Psychology, as well as contribute to programme enhancement; have excellent breadth and depth of specialist knowledge in Psychology, and be confident in the use of e-learning technologies and the use of all Microsoft 365 tools and applications. You will ideally have some teaching or academic support experience.
