International Programme Lead / Senior Lecturer (m / w / d)

We are currently recruiting an International Programme Lead / Senior Lecturer to lead, develop and monitor postgraduate and undergraduate programmes, ensuring high levels of student outcomes.
This role will include associated operational administration, teaching, curriculum development and quality management and enhancement (including accreditation by relevant professional institutions where appropriate). Senior Lecturers work with the Dean, Heads of School/Centre, Deputy Heads of School/Centre and Lecturers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of programmes in accordance with University strategy, policies and procedures and undertake research and scholarly activity.
Senior Lecturers/PTLs have academic leadership responsibilities which typically involve a combination of the following, in discussion with their Deputy Head of School/Head of School/Dean of Faculty:
- Responsibility for a programme or suite of associated named awards/programmes
- Module leadership of several large, core modules
- Overall responsibility for a year group or cohort within a large programme
- Line management of Lecturers (who may themselves lead modules)
- Teaching duties (and associated activities) normally up to 8 hours per week as agreed with the relevant DHOS/HOS/Dean of Faculty.
We would like to hear from applicants who ideally have an existing track record of creating, developing and enhancing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, or at least academic modules. You will be experienced in current and effective teaching, learning and assessment practices in Higher Education, and be able to bring your knowledge and understanding to Arden to grow our programmes and providing excellent student outcomes.
