Dissertation Supervisor Business - Berlin
Arden University is a growing organisation delivering online only and blended study options to students studying towards undergraduate degrees and master’s and MBA programmes. We have study centres in numerous locations across the UK, as well as a centre in Berlin, and a head office based in Coventry.
Role Summary
All Arden BSc, MSc and MBA programmes require students to complete a final year dissertation, and this is entitled the “project” module. In developing their research, students need to be guided by specialist supervisors with relevant qualifications and experience.
As a Dissertation Supervisor you will be involved in supporting one or more students giving one to one tutoring via the virtual learning environment (VLE), proactively initiating and engaging in discussion, providing regular commentary, feedback and assessment throughout the research process. Your work will be undertaken in Campus plus remotely online; this enables a uniquely flexible work environment which can be fitted around any existing employment or other commitment.

Training in supervision will be provided for all applicants. Pay rates are calculated per student and supervisors may define their capacity and the number of students they support. Second marking the work of students supported by other supervisors is also available as a discrete tutoring role; pay rates again are calculated by student.
