Computing Lecturer

Salary: £40,500 

Based at our Tower Hill Study Centre

The Opportunity: You will deliver excellent teaching and learning in the computing for executive and professional education programmes. We will require you to design excellent teaching material for undergraduate and post graduate study ensuring that content and methods of delivery meet defined learning objectives. Managing your own teaching activity and reflect on practice and development of skills, with support/guidance as needed will also form a part of this role. Finally, you will have to undertake administrative activities to support teaching and learning activities. 

 

About You: It goes without saying that you are enthusiastic academic who is comfortable working with diverse groups of learners and uses a variety of strategies to get across key concepts. We have launched our new undergraduate degree in Computing and are planning to develop additional courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You should have the expertise and capability to deliver across a range of subjects in Computing, including web development, databases, programming, systems analysis, human computer interaction and IT project management. We choose our lecturers so that they can inspire our students with real life stories and set them up to succeed.
