Arden University is a growing organisation delivering online only and blended study options to students studying towards undergraduate degrees and master’s and MBA programmes. We have study centres in numerous locations across the UK, as well as a centre in Berlin, and a head office based in Coventry.
Pay £45/hr – This is a freelance role.
Delivering at one of our UK study centres (London, Birmingham or Manchester), you will be teaching Arden University blended learning students by utilising a range of innovative learning materials and resources both in class and online. You will be focusing on our Degree Apprenticeships programme and experience of teaching similar is essential.
Being experienced at teaching students in either Business Management or Digital & Technology Solutions, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver student-centred teaching approaches. Ideally you will have a teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one. In addition, you will hold an undergraduate degree, as well as holding Masters in a subject relevant to your teaching focus. Demonstrable industry experience will enhance your application but is not essential.
As our teaching is done both online and in person, experience of delivering lectures and supporting students in an online or blended learning environment would be desirable. Exposure to virtual learning environments, and other online tools to support student learning (e.g. Moodle, Blackboard or similar).

Whilst some of the role involves supporting students virtually, you will also be required to deliver up to 18 hours face to face learning during a 3 month teaching block. The specific detail will be discussed with you during the interview.
